Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information WESTDGROUP and its brands (WESTDBROTHERS, Casting Room by Kamolika and WESTD Productions) collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies when you message us on WhatsApp, fill in one of our forms or ads on Facebook/Instagram, call us, or use this website.

1. Information we collect

Contact details: your name and phone number (including your WhatsApp number and WhatsApp profile name).
What you tell us: your messages and answers to our questions, for example event type, date, city and budget (events); age, height, city, experience and Instagram handle (casting); or the service or course you are interested in (production).
Ad information: if you reach us by clicking one of our ads, Meta shares which ad you clicked and an ad-click reference.
Records of our service: call notes, booking details, payments and delivered work.
Files you send us, such as photos or audio, when you choose to share them.

2. How we use it

To reply to you, share profiles, prices and availability, and call you about your enquiry.
To send follow-up messages about the enquiry you started. You can stop these at any time (see below).
To deliver bookings, shoots, recordings or courses and keep records of them.
To measure and improve our advertising. We tell Meta whether an enquiry that came from one of our ads became a qualified lead or a booking, using the ad-click reference, so that our ads are shown to people who are more likely to be interested. We do not share the content of your messages for this purpose.
To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

3. Automated messages

When you message our WhatsApp numbers, an automated assistant may greet you, ask a few questions and send you our profile. A member of our team can read the conversation and may take over at any time. Type call to ask for a person.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Meta Platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram), which carries our messages and runs our ads, under Meta's own terms and privacy policy.
Service providers that host our systems and store data for us (for example cloud hosting and database providers). They may only use it to provide their service to us.
Our team members and partner artists or professionals, only as needed to deliver the service you asked for.
Authorities, when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, and booking/payment records for as long as tax and accounting laws require. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your choices and rights

Stop messages: reply STOP on WhatsApp and we will stop sending you follow-ups.
Access, correct or delete: you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (see Delete my data).
You may withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

We handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

7. Security

Access to our lead system is limited to our team through individual logins, data is transferred over encrypted connections, and we keep regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Age

Our services are meant for people aged 18 or older. Casting Room shoots require the model to be 18+, or to be accompanied by a parent or guardian where the law allows. If you believe a minor has shared data with us, contact us and we will delete it.

9. This website

This website may use basic cookies or analytics to understand visits. We do not use it to collect sensitive personal data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.

How to delete your data

To have your personal data deleted, do any one of these:

Send DELETE MY DATA on the same WhatsApp number you contacted us on, or
Email info@westdgroup.com with the subject "Delete my data" and the phone number you used.

We will confirm and delete your enquiry data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example invoices).
